the 18 year old Bud Moore was a machine gunner and assigned to the 90th Infantry Division. Bud's Division landed on Utah Beach in France on D-Day and His unit was attached to General George W. Pattons Third Army which pushed to liberate Europe. Bud was awarded five Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars for his military efforts.
